This is where it all started... Recently moved, 70 Pinyon Jays appeared in March 2023. It had been years since the last Pinyon nut harvest and back to back La Nina's have contributed to the problem with higher temperatures weakening trees and long terms without water are causing die offs in the Southwest and Nevada. These are in Cibola NF in Catron County, New Mexico
