Guardians of the Pinyons

First fledgling to appear. Pinyon Jays are colony nesters and begin taking the fledglings out after about a month. Not till they are older do they come out of cover. Usually deep inside the trees waiting for the parents to feed them. Cibola National Forest, New Mexico
